My Dance Story
Hi, my name is Tannah Zenon and dance has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started dancing when I was 4 years old in Louisiana at Jill Listi Dance Studio, and since then it has shaped who I am today. From long practices to performances, competitions, and now dancing at the college level, dance has taught me discipline, confidence, and resilience.
This website is about something deeper than just dance itself. It’s about the reality behind it. A lot of people see dancers on stage and only think about the performance, but they don’t always see the hard work, pressure, and sacrifices that go into it. Many dancers are undervalued, and their effort often goes unnoticed.
Through this site, I want to share my experiences, bring awareness to what dancers really go through, and create a space where dancers feel understood. At the same time, I want people who aren’t in the dance world to gain a better understanding of it.
Dance is more than just movement. It’s dedication, emotion, and identity.
