Advice for Dancers
If you’re a dancer who has ever felt overlooked or not good enough, you’re not alone. A lot of dancers go through that at some point.
One of the most important things I’ve learned is to know your worth. Just because someone doesn’t recognize your effort doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Your hard work matters, even when it feels like no one is noticing.
Another thing is to stay consistent. Dance is not easy, and there will be moments where you feel like giving up. But growth comes from pushing through those moments.
Also, don’t compare yourself too much to others. Everyone’s journey in dance is different, and constantly comparing yourself can take away from your own progress.
Lastly, remember why you started. Dance is supposed to be something you love. Even when it gets hard, don’t lose that connection to it.
